The vineyard is located on the eastern side of the ridge that descends towards Barbaresco. The laminated SantAgata marls in this specific soil are less evolved, therefore more bluish, and complex. The southeast exposure in a smaller amphitheater makes the location well protected and secure. This, combined with the more complex soil, produces wines with
